On Monday the 12th of September 2016, the TY class went to a transition year exposition in Kildare. I got up at 4:45 AM and came to the school at 5:30. I wasn’t as tired as I thought I would be and didn’t sleep on the bus at all. The bus picked up some students from various places and soon enough we were on our way to Kildare. We also had a key note speaker on board called Darragh Harkin. Darragh was a TY student in Crana College last year and he was invited along to make a speech about what came of TY for him. I won’t lie I found the rest of the expo quite boring. Afterwards we went to Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. I was just happy to see a McDonald’s to be honest. After an hour or two of shopping and eating we hopped back on the bus and headed for home. The trip was good craic and I’ll always enjoy a day out of class.
